This is a 35 hr. per week full-time position at the Fulton County Board of Elections filled by appointment.

The candidate must be detail oriented, cooperative and able to follow directions, be able to quickly learn how to use election information management software, be able to work under pressure in a sometimes fast-paced environment. The job requires regular and on-time attendance. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, must live in and be registered to vote as a Democrat in Fulton County.

Primary responsibilities: Administrative support to the Elections Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner; data entry involving voter registration, absentee voting, document scanning, and a variety of general clerical duties including answering telephone calls and face-to-face customer service to the general public.

Minimum qualifications: High school diploma; experience performing office/ clerical work; computer skills and use of Microsoft Windows 7 and Office 7 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), able to operate standard office equipment (fax/scanner/copier). Good communication and organizational skills.
